That day i lost all my pictures due to a computer error
This report is both positive and negative. The negative part is that I can’t show any pictures. When I got home, all the pictures where destroyed due to a computer error. However, I have been allowed to borrow 3 of Kristian Graubæk’s pictures and i mannaged to save some of my own, (he joined me into the field today).
My day:
Today I went into the field with an old friend K. Graubæk. We visited some areas in the neighborhood where I had never been before. It was a very nice trip, we found vipers places where I never knew / figured there would be vipers - It surprised me very positively, it was nice to find animals in new areas. We found a lot of offspring from last year, some of them were very small and extremely beautiful. I believe we found 4 small juveniles of Lacerta agilis and 5 Juveniles of Vipera berus. We found two snake burrows placed very high located, which gave me some good images of a snake sticking it’s head out of the ground, (unfortunatly the pictures are gone now). We also found lots of lizards everywhere, both males and females. Besides of the computer fault and my loss of images, it was nice to visit the field with an old friend.
The more speciel situations i photographed : I lost 367 picture files that day.
I got som amazing pictures of juvenlie adders from last and previous years.
I took pictures of very small juveniles of Lacerta agilis.
I followed a grass snake wich gave me some very nice pictures.
I found Vipera berus in new areas.
I believe we saw approximately 8 adult Vipera Berus, 5 juvenile Vipera berus, 5 Natrix natrix and a lot of Lacerta agilis, at least 15 i think.
Some of these found in new parts of the area.
This report will be updated soon
I will update the thread with more pictures if possibly.
